Accelerate Your Project with Private Mentoring
Private 1:1 mentoring with John Teel for entrepreneurs, startups, inventors, & small companies creating new electronic products.

If you want to accelerate your project there is no better way than private 1:1 mentoring from someone that has the broad experience necessary to develop and sell a new electronic product.
Do you need help navigating the complex product development process? Or do you need help with marketing and/or selling your product?
Maybe you have a prototype but don't know what to do next? Or maybe you just have an idea but need help figuring out how to get started?
From an early idea to building a prototype to scaling up manufacturing, and all the way to market domination, I'm here to help guide you!
You will get the benefits of my years of experience developing electronic products, bringing my own product to market, and helping others make their product a reality.
Although I started my career focused 100% on engineering, I learned to embrace the power of marketing when I launched my own hardware product over 15 years ago.
I'm the rare engineer who loves product development and marketing. In fact, you probably wouldn't be here otherwise:)
There are countless specialists, but my specialty is guiding innovators of new electronic products like you all the way from idea to prototype to market.
John Teel is a product design engineer, serial entrepreneur, and the founder of Predictable Designs and the Hardware Academy.
As a senior design engineer at Texas Instruments he designed dozens of successful electronic microchips. His designs can be found in all kinds of popular electronic devices including some from Apple and Intel. You likely own a product or two with one of his chip designs inside.
Before starting Predictable Designs, John founded a hardware startup named MicroLite Tech that developed and manufactured consumer lighting devices. His product was sold in hundreds of retail locations across multiple countries.
In addition to developing the product, he managed manufacturing in China, marketing, trade shows, logistics, financing, and sales. John had a team of over 20 sales representatives across the U.S. selling his product.
For the past 7 years his full time passion has been helping entrepreneurs like you to develop and bring new electronic products to market.
John received a Master’s in Electrical Engineering (MSEE) degree from the University of Texas with a focus in microelectronics.
